Idaho Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm anyone’s custody or release, remove or supply a booking photo, or retrieve an official record. Those requests must go to the agency, court, or publisher that holds the material. No site-owned email or contact form is listed here; the routes below do not contact the site's operator.

Contact the Office That Holds the Record

Idaho does not use one statewide county booking-photo database. A booking record belongs with the county agency responsible for the arrest or custody, while state criminal history, court filings, and state-prison records have separate custodians. Start with the record type and send a narrow request to the right official source.

  • County booking record or photo: Use the County Directory to reach the relevant county’s official site. Ask its sheriff, jail, or records custodian about the booking record and any release or correction process.
  • Idaho criminal-history record: Contact the Idaho State Police Bureau of Criminal Identification. Its repository is separate from a county roster and a court docket.
  • Filed case or disposition: Search the Idaho iCourt Portal and contact the clerk for the court that filed the case when a copy or fuller docket is needed.
  • State custody or supervision: Use the IDOC records page to reach the Idaho Department of Correction’s Resident/Client Search and information request route.
  • Federal or immigration custody: Check the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator for federal prison custody and the ICE detainee locator for immigration detention. A county record marked with a federal hold may not contain the federal case file.
  • A copy held by another publisher: Send any correction or removal request to that publisher. This site does not host booking photos and cannot remove a copy from another service.

For an agency request, identify the full name, approximate booking or event date, county or agency, and any booking or case number you have. If a dismissal, acquittal, sealing, shielding, or expungement order applies, include the order or the official reference needed to locate it. Do not send sensitive personal or victim information to an unrelated publisher.
